1966 Airstream Safari 22'

Meet "Campy" our 1966 Airstream Safari 22.'

This is a family camper that we have owned and loved for 5 years. We recently had a second child and have upgraded to a larger Airstream. Otherwise, we would still be on the road in this one!

We've driven this camper all over the country, including a 7000-mile roundtrip from Louisiana to Glacier National Park and back last summer.

This unit has not been restored but is in great working condition. Upgrades in 2020 included: New A/C unit, new 6-gallon propane water heater, new toilet, new wheel bearings, rims, white-wall tires, propane tanks & regulators, all new curtains, all new foam cushions and upholstery, exterior polish job, and new fabric awning.

Other Features: 30amp electrical service, copper plumbing, romex wiring, original oven, microwave, original refrigerator, original light fixtures. This trailer weighs around 3500 pounds dry and pulls easily. Includes hitch, sway bar, and stabilizer jacks. Some decor not included (some pillows, and rugs).
I have the original rims, hub caps, antenna, and water heater cover if the buyer wants them. I also have a set of aluminum propane tanks for an additional price, if interested.
#Seller notes: The exterior was polished two years ago and is starting to show water spots. This is normal with use. It could use a touch-up polish if you want a perfect finish. There are a few scratches, hail damage spots, and dents to the front banana peel, as shown in the pictures. These are much more visible in the photos than in real life. The top photo of the roof shows some dirt, not dents. Although we have never had a single problem with the refrigerator, it was not working when I checked on the camper this week. Because it is the original unit I didn't want to remove it without it being looked at by a professional first. We live in a small town and don't have access to an RV or refrigerator repair shop. Either way, I will pay to have it served or I will give an allowance for a new refrigerator.
##The Airstream is currently stored at a covered RV storage facility. It's ready to hit the road!
