This vintage 1961 Airstream Globetrotter trailer is more than a collector's item. It's a mobile business, office, spare room, camper, and whatever you want it to be. And it's a hedge against inflation because it's an asset that will appreciate and actually go up in value over time.
Exterior length is 20 feet. Interior length is approximately 17 feet. It's about 7 feet wide and the interior ceiling height is about 6' 6".
It's been rebuilt from the ground up so practically everything is new except for the beautiful shell. Here's what we did.
Super wide concession window spans the entire length between the end caps. Gas struts for east open and close.
New mirror polish! It's an absolute head turner.
The chassis was inspected and found to be in great shape with no corrosion.
New plywood subfloor was added in spots where the original subfloor was rotten.
New engineered hardwood floor.
All new 120v system consisting of new exterior shore power inlet, new circuit breaker box, new romex, two new interior outlets, and new ceiling lights.
As far as insulation goes the original insulation holds up to this day.
Rust-Oleum aluminum color painted front tongue, rear bumper, entry step.
All new marker lights. Original tail lights tested and working: running lights, brake lights, turn signals, and hazards.
New tires and moon caps. Bearings were serviced and are rotating freely.
New heavy duty 7-way trailer cable.
Interior painted white.
New twist knob keyed locking hasp with 2 keys.
