I have a 1959 Tradewind that was purchased back in 2019. The previous owner had stripped it down to the frame, replaced the axle, wheels, and installed a new subfloor.
Since then I have taken it to a professional- JDK Creations in Austin, TX where they:
-sealed it up
- gas lines
- new insulation
- installed new vinyl flooring
-new coleman ac
- new fan
- custom water tanks grey and fresh
- girard water heater and water pump
-new tan aluminum interior paneling ( was planning for black cabinets, oak, copper theme with the tan interior )
I have a list of items purchased and scope of work from JDK of items completed. My partner and I have started putting up interior room walls, but haven't had much time for else. It is essentially a blank slate ready for cabinet build out!
The electrical is ran to be similar to the original layout of the trailer. Rear bath, twin beds, dinette in the front. There is also a stainless steel shower pan the previous owners had installed. Gas lines ran for WH, fridge, and range. One grey tank underneath with the freshwater tank up front under booth seat.
My initial plan was to finish the build out, but I'm now entertaining selling it since I don't have time to finish it out any time soon. It's a beauty and needs to be on the road!
